Hello, I am back from a surprised unscheduled leave of absence.  Yes, I was forced to take time off  the computer and rest my wrists and fingers.  They were getting numb due to Carpel Tunnel Syndrome.  I have a tendency to get very relaxed when I start to write, however it seems it is not good for the old fingers and wrists.  They are much better now and I am very happy to be back.  To be sure  that I wouldn’t go on the computer I had no internet at all for the whole time I was off.  That was hard at first.  I never knew I was so addicted to this machine.

I just moved half way across the city, which I didn’t think would be so stressful.  I have moved several times over my life so this was nothing new to me.  I always enjoyed the adventure of moving to a new home, decorating a new place.  It seemed so exciting to me; until this last time.  This time turned out to be a nerve-wracking experience.  Right from the get go nothing seemed to go right.  If I went right everything and everyone went left.  For some reason it took a week instead of a day to move.  This never happened before.

I was in my new place without the internet.  So meditation to keep the stress levels down helped immensely.  Also writing in a journal also helped. You see my fingers on both hands were numb down to the middle of the fingers before I stopped.  So there were quite a few simple things that I had trouble doing like doing up buttons, picking up coins off the counter, or any small objects.  I couldn’t put my earrings in by myself.  Putting on mascara was a chore and I would keep dropping things because I couldn’t feel them in my hands.

That is all in the past now.  I am in my new home and neighbourhood, and meeting new people everyday. I am also happy to be back here with you and looking forward to some great feedback from you on some upcoming stories.
