PART 2 IN MY SERIES OF EMOTIONS: FEAR

According to the Merriam-Webster’s Dictionary Fear is “an unpleasant and often strong emotion caused by anticipation or awareness of danger.”

Fear is a vital response to physical and emotional danger—if we couldn’t feel it, we couldn’t protect ourselves from legitimate threats.  However, sometimes we fear situations that are not life-threatening, and then hang back for no good reason.  Traumas and bad experiences can trigger a fear response that is hard to calm down.

If held onto for too long, healthy fear can turn unhealthy. Then it can take shape in more than one way.  It can lead to violent behavior or lead to illness such as an anxiety disorder.

The best way to get over our fears is to face them.  Having said that, we can take it one step at a time.

  • become aware of your fears
  • identify the ways you express fear
  • recognize the situations which trigger your fear

Remember it is an emotion.  Use the Breathing Technique .    Fear is a negative energy.

WE BREATHE OUT ALL NEGATIVE ENERGY AND WE BREATHE IN ALL POSITIVE ENERGY.

BREATHE OUT THE NEGATIVE –  BREATHE IN THE POSITIVE
